How on earth could we ever know how many muslims harbour ill feeling towards the west?
Could be 1%, could be 99%.

I take your point, comma, but according to the official spokesman that wasn't the reason. Somebody, presumably a Muslim, had previously kicked off about a serviceman in uniform being present, and rather than make a point of stamping out any further such misbehaviour,, several people at the hospital decided to encourage more of it by making a big deal about moving the RAF man out of sight.

How can a serviceman in uniform, combat fatigues or whatever be seen as offensive?
Or is it the case that someone thought that others might find it offensive?
I have an acquaintance who runs a junior RAF club in Newham. They all wear standard RAF uniform and 75% of them are muslim. Do they offend themselves?
